
Ecological Architecture
Ecological Architecture aims to serve people who:wishes to live in an environment respectful to nature,does not wish to pollute the air, the water and the earth,wishes to leave a clean environment to their grandsons and granddoughters. A graduate of Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Architecture (1983), Rüksan Tuna has, within her portfilo, twenty-eight years of experience in design, project design and application and for the last three years enriching these experiences by her continuous research on sustainability. She has got licence for assessing green buildings. (BREEAM Assessor since February 2011.) Her services includes consulting of green buildings, an integrated planning with creativity in design, concern in details. Her travels and studies especially in Europe encompasses the areas of ecological architecture, energy-effective buildings, energy saving, use of solar energy and wind power, hydro-and geothermal energy, solar cells, passive houses, heat and sound isolation, heat pumps, daylight usage and solar control, greywater-rainwater usage, and waste management. She is a member of work group ‘’ecological architecture’’ of Chamber of Architects. Being a member of board of CEDBIK (Turkish Green Building Council) (March 2009-April 2011), continues her mission in certificate committee of CEDBIK.Address
